so i'm sitting in the airport lounge in the chicago airport. i have this 'priority pass' that work pays for because we do so much travelling and it allows us into the lounges at all major airports. these lounges have free food (usually chips, prezels, bagels, fruit, etc) and free booze. a nice perk for long trips - and nice to be able to use for non-work trips as well. the problem is, not every airline accepts the pass, so sometimes i have to schlep across the entire airport before i find a lounge that will let me in. like today. so i've only been here about 20 minutes, and i'm going to have to leave in 10 to make it back to my gate in the next terminal. ah what i'll do for a free bud light.
kidding. it's only 11.05 am - too early for booze. i'll have enough of that this weekend.
i'm on my way to vegas for rachel's bachelorette party - it should be a blast. i don't know what's planned, and i've been so manic in boston, i've hardly had time to think about it, let alone plan anything. i brought one game, and gave alicia (rachel's friend) some ideas for a few more - so we'll see what happens.
anyway, i bought myself a new bathingsuit - i've decided this is the year i begin covering my stomach. yes, it's true. i am too old for skimpy bikinis. so i got a two piece but the top is long - basically like a tank top. i spent way too much money on it, but figured i could return it if i find another one in vegas. but i guess a bathingsuit lasts awhile, so it's a nice investment. i'm looking forward to lounging by the pool. it's grey and rainy here in chicago - the sun better be shining in vegas!
after vegas i'm on to phoenix for work on monday - so perhaps i'll have a chance to update the blog when i get to the hotel. in the mean time .... i've got to practice my poker face.

What a life,,next you will be driving a sport car,,,,nothing but the best,,,finally taking my advice,,,now you have to learn to have more then one bathing suit,,one for those gases days,,one for cloudy days,,the days you feel sexy,,,,the days you don't,,the days you want all to see you and then there are the other days,,you hide under a towel,,the days you have a tan,,,colors will be more vibrant,,the snow bird days,,WHITE SKIN,,the days you match colors with your partner,,,,,the days you don't want anyone to know your with him,,,,don't wear black in the caribbean,,,sun too hot,,,burns your skin through the suit,, that's a fact,,white ,,,you can see through when wet,,,some material makes your butte wiggle,,,always match toe nail polish for a complete look,,,french manicure is the in thing with a nice tan,,,don't worry about that Meag,,,you'll never get that dark,,always be prepared,,,,I HAVE 16 suits,,,do you think I'm ready?????OH HAVE TO GET A SILVER ONE NOW!!!!!!,
