it's 4.16am on sunday night and i CANNOT get to sleep for the life of me. too much running through my head and i cannot seem to calm down. i have a meeting in 5 1/2 hours and i can tell i'm going to have to get a starbucks latte already. which is going to leave me shakey and achey all day - but what can you do?
if anyone knows how to get me some ambien or lunesta - i'd be most grateful!
in other news, the weekend with the aunts was great - we ended up getting through quite a few batches of margaritas and laughing most of the night. anna and i drove back this afternoon and somehow i got inspired to cook a roast chicken. quite possibly the trickiest and most elaborate meal i've cooked since i've been here. it was absolutely delicious (another SF chronicle cookbook delight) and i must say my roast potatoes were perfect.
from here on out i've got to finish what's in my cupboard - tomorrow it's something with tuna and cannenelli beans. i can hardly wait.
now to attempt to sleep again! (send the drugs!)

Tuna and cannellini beans, I say this cooking show where the woman used these to make tuna salad. Add a little onion and some vinegarette and put on crispy toast. Worth a try.
